A Richard acid etched cameo glass vase Date : c1925 Origin : Lorraine, France Colour : Opaque red and deep blue Bowl : Cameo signed Richard, depicting a Vosges type lakeland landscape Pontil : Polished. The foot is intaglio signed "Made in France" Glass Type : Lead Size : 15.5cm tall, 9cm bowl, 7.5cm foot Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks Restoration : None Weight : 303 grams. This was produced by Richard France.

The name Richard was also used by Loetz on cameo glass. There are a couple of things worthy of note. The deep blue over opaque red is almost certainly unique to Richard Lorraine and their production was almost exclusively two colour. This is the first Richard Lorraine cameo that we have offered for sale.
