ABP CUT GLASS FLOWER CENTER SIGNED J. HOARE Estate fresh

  
Fresh from a FABULOUS Arkansas estate is this small American Brilliant Period CUT GLASS FLOWER CENTER, measuring 6" tall and 5" wide. The vase is SIGNED: J HOARE on the bottom in two places. The flower center features a serrated cut neck and gorgeous flowers and vines. The flower center has no "issues" but does show proper wear on the bottom from sitting on a shelf for 100 plus years. The top rim is in very good condition. The small size is somewhat unusual in cut glass flower centers. John Hoare was born in CORK, IRELAND in 1822.

In the 1870's and 1880's, HOARE'S was one of the largest cut glass companies, employing up to 300 employees. John's son followed his father in the business which continued until the company was dissolved in 1920.
