This magnificent rare Art Deco heavy hand-cut, hand polished crystal vase by company. Was made in Czechoslovakia circa the 1930's. His specialty was deep sculpted relief figural decorations, and his experienced glass formers & cutters numbered 40. Hlouek was a graduate from the State vocational school for the glass-making industry in elezný Brod (1924 1927).

For his cut art glass, which was presented by the refinery at the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1935, Rudolf Hlousek received the Grand Prix! This Art Glass vase is in perfect condition without chips and cracks. Slight surface markings on base from the previous owners. Height 9.3 (23.5 cm).
