Set of 2 Moser Art Glass Jan Mares Cut Beryl Green Base 11 1/2 Vases -Signed

  
Offering a set of two (2) Moser Karlsbad, Czech Republic, art glass 11 1/2 tall conical vases with ball foot designed by Jan Mares. Clear cut glass conical body on a beryl color (pale sea green) ball base. Signed on the base with Moser's acid etch mark and etched with "Jan Mares".

Both the vases have their original sticker. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Approximately 11 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" in diameter. Please see photographs as they are part of the description.

Mare, Jan (19532005) 19751981 Academy of Applied Arts in Prague, studio of S. In 1981 he completed his thesis (an engraved object) using raw material from the Moser smelter. Began co-operation with Moser glass works in Karlovy Vary, creating designs of engraved objects and cut glass. He designed multi-coloured decorative glass and blocks with engraved decorations. The diversity of the cooperation with Jan Mare is illustrated by his work in the 1990s when he created objects with differing shapes and colours that he assembled and combined into groups.
