Description : A really fine Modern vase, manufactured by Moser Glass of Czechoslovakia from a design by Josef Hoffmann, the head of the. It's a hand-blown glass, blown into a shaped mold, which produced the distinctive wasted conical "spindle" form. The entire surface was then panel cut into the final eight-sided form, which gives the vase a really strong Art Deco apparent. This form was made in a number of different sizes and colors.This one (from my own collection) is in crystal, in one of the larger sizes. Size : 9.75" tall, 5.5" across the mouth, 3.125 at the base. Condition : Very minor wear to the bottom.
