GLASS HAS A WEIRD BRASS CAP TO BOTTOM WITH AN EXPOSED HOLE. VASE BOTTOM IS OPEN AND WAS MANUFACTURED THAT WAY. WE ARE NOT SURE HOW IT HOLDS WATER OR IF IT WAS MADE FOR DRY FLOWERS.
