This is a beautiful and impressively tall and wide Corset Vase - taller sizes are getting harder to find these days and demand is rising, this is a great piece for collectors. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1920 roughly) which is over 100 years old now!

Majority of cut Floral patterns tend to be from the later half into the 1920's. Delightfully sculptured this clear, crisp & sparkling vase showcases beautiful decorative, simply gorgeous cut crystal patterns. This is late American brilliant cut glass featuring beautiful designs of flowers and ferns and a sunburst base. It is a large corset shape, clear and quality blank, heavy too. Gorgeous tall vase - fantastic piece for special occasions.

Pattern includes large etched pansy-like flowers, ferns, lines, and leaves. Vase is covered with 8 petal wheel flowers with hexad hobnail centers. Clear wedge leaves and engraved fern type leaves make this a lovely & unique motif. Lovely special hand cut top rim. That gives it a Very Striking Visual in This Beautiful Piece.

This Gorgeous Piece was created by a master cutter in traditional style with fine handcrafts showcasing extremely accurate work. The lead crystal glass is as clear and bright now as the day it was made. Very elaborate, very skilled cutting. Very refractive sharp & deep cuts. Very heavy weighing 4 pounds 10.6 ounces. Approximate Dimensions: Almost 12" tall, 5" across at the top, 4 3/4 at the base.

Condition: This striking vase is in excellent antique condition with exceptional clarity and reflectivity, a beautiful ring when pinged. The base is also very clean reflecting only minimal signs of appropriate wear.

Except for one shallow chip on top edge, see photo. Even for 100 years of age, it shows very minimal signs of use-wear. This piece has been lovingly cared for and presents spectacularly.
