ABP Signed Sinclaire 12 Inch Vase, Special Order Item, Excellent Condition

  
Description and Condition: Here is a rarely seen signed Sinclaire vase in what I believe is the firm's Westminster pattern. It is classic brilliant period, with outstanding cutting, and finishing on a top quality, water white blown blank. What is especially appealing is that this was a special order to show the raised shield with the monogram HF. The letters are very finely engraved. The standard production vase had the area of the blank, from which the shield was created, ground down and polished to a continuous vertical flat panel as the other panels of the piece. Sinclaire glass in pure brilliant patterns is hard enough to find, not to mention special order examples. This vase is 12 inches tall and 5 inches diameter at the mouth and base. It is signed with the typical tiny mark of the letter S inside a circular wreath. I tried to capture the Sinclaire mark in the last photo of this listing. You might want to enlarge the image to see it. Other than normal shelf wear on the bottom, I could not find any issues with this vase. Note: The photos were taken outdoors, but this vase is even more attractive in real life! I will gladly do my best to provide you with any needed information, including more photos.
