American Brilliant Period Cut Glass 5.75 Miniature Vase, c. 1900

  

Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE! This listing is for a lovely American Brilliant Period cut glass miniature pedestal vase, c.

The vase has a corset shaped paneled top with scalloped upper edge above the decorated body cut in a hobstar, diamond and fan design. The vase narrows as it reaches the top of the pedestal base which has a cut multi-point star on the bottom. This is a nice quality vase with the glass being 3/8 thick. Measures 5 3/4" high with a 2 3/8" diameter top and a 2 1/2 diameter base.

This nice vase is in very good to excellent Estate condition with the only issue found being a faint nick on the underside of the polished rim with a small internal fracture in the glass at this spot. This small flaw is very hard to spot and the flaw can not be felt on the inside or outside of the vase. There is some minor rubbing on the base from normal use and there may be a tiny nick or two in the cut design, however, upon close inspection we no other damage.
