This superb Arnstadt Kristall hand cut cobalt blue cut to clear vase was received by our donors as a gift in 1991 from friends in Japan. The vase has been stored for most of the past 30 years in its original velvet-lined gift/storage box, which is labeled Takashimaya (a high-end Japanese department store). This elegant vase is in like new, bright, pristine, gift-worthy condition with no damage. It is in its original Takashimaya gift/storage box with its original labels and bi-fold brochure (in Japanese). The storage box is in very good condition, with some light smudging on the top. The vase still has its two original labels - one says "Arnstadt Kristall Handcut Made in Germany"; the other says "Sachsen Crystal Made in Germany" (apparently an Arnstadt subsidiary). The 3 lb, 2 oz vase stands a proud 8-1/4 inches tall and has a 4 inch square cut rim.
