Under consideration is an Exquisite, Rare, Cobalt Blue Cased Crystal, Cut to Clear, 13 inch tall, footed, VASE. This 13 tall cobalt blue cased vase contains numerous elaborate hand cut-to-clear design elements positioned across its surface. The main design pattern consists of three cut shield formsapprox. 4"x 7" located around the circumference, on the lower 2/3 portion, of the vase. Within the shields are large hand-cut designs. A 32 point sun burst pattern in 2 of the shields. The 3rd shield contain the main design item, an impressive hand-cut, finely detailed, depiction of a European Grouse flying thru the forest trees. There is a 3 1/8 inch tall clear crystal pedestal with a 3 7/8 inch square base. One of the corners of the base is signed Engmann. Diameter, at widest- 5 1/2 inch.
