Footed Compote Vase American Brilliant Cut Glass Crystal Pairpoint co Daisy

  

This is a lovely cut glass Compote / Tazza. This is a great display piece, it's like a sweet pea vase shape I suppose. Measures: 6-1/2" tall by 6" wide top rim. This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1920's). It is genuine from the era.

This is a "Polished Daisy" pattern cut by Pairpoint co. The shape of this vase is seen on pg. C108 with a different pattern, the "20 petal polished daisy" is well know as a Pairpoint flower. Obviously the best Daisy one can find on ABP besides Dorflinger who did one similar.

Condition: It is over 100 years old so it's in great condition for these days.. There are NO chips or cracks... Clean and clear without crizzling or damage. Scuff marks on bottom from age which is the appropriate patina from age.
