This listing is for a C1900 antique twelve cabochon cut to clear antique MOSER fruit bowl with 24k gilded wrigglework. MADE BY CHRISTALUX, with a sticker label still attached...

This is exceptional glass work as the cabochons are not stuck on. It is made by casing clear glass with green then cutting back the twelve shaped cabochons then gilding their edges and the top edge and gilding the wrigglework.... A work of art and a very time consuming skill. The fruit bowl has an additional 12 facets leading to a 12 sided gilded base raising the dish 1/2. I have also seen these items referred to as made by Steiner 7 Vogelit may be that the glass was made by one company and the decorations another.
