Vase has beautifully cut back design of graceful leaping Art Deco style gazelles, over Art Deco styled plants around entire vase. Vase referenced in a book called, The Glass of Fredrick Carder, Plate XXV, B. Acid etched, Fleur de lis, at bottom of vase, see last picture, signed on bottom, "F Carder" and, " Steuben" on bottom, see pictures.
10 inches high, 10 inch diameter at widest point. No Chips, cracks or repairs, few tiny glaze skips, only mentioned for accuracy. Any white marks seen in pictures are reflection of the lights in room. Ivory glass, a product of 1920s and 1930s, is translucent, somewhat resembling the color of pressed custard. It has a bell-like quality when tapped and is thicker and heavier than many Steuben wares.
